WARRANTY

All Break Time products carry a 2 years warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to product materials and construction under responsible use. Exposure to any harsh chemicals that result in corrosion, discoloration or a breakdown of integrity of material, or damage caused by dog chewing, pool water exposure, violent contact with a hard object etc., is not considered a defect, but wear-and-tear.

All Break Time jewellery and accessories from the current collections are made with stainless steel and high-quality yachting rope/paracord, therefore they are all water-resistant. Intensive use can, in time, lead to the discoloration of the rope.

To enjoy your Break Time item for the longest of time, please try to follow the cleaning instructions (posted below).

RETURNS

We have a 15 days return policy (starting from the moment you have received your order). To be eligible for a return, your item must be new and unused and it must have its original packaging bag.

Custom made items (custom colours, custom sizes, custom engraved items), as well as items on SALE cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged, so please make sure to choose the right size, by consulting our SIZE GUIDE.

If more than 15 days have gone by since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also have its original packaging bag.

To complete your return, please include with the returned item(s), the following information:

- full name, address and phone number

- order number 

- reason for the return (item too big/too small etc.) and what action do you request: refund or exchange with a different size (please specify the new size)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. All return and refund/exchange claims will be processed in maximum 5 working days (calculated from the day we receive your returned item). We reserve the right to reject return claims if the above conditions are not met.

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of initial shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you want to make sure we receive the item, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

REFUND

We will offer a full refund if the order has not reached your address. If an order is returned to us after your local postman did try to deliver, but either the address you have provided was incorrect, or you were not to be found at the address and you did not subsequently claim the order at the post office, then we will refund your order, minus the shipping cost. This does not apply to custom orders, which cannot be returned or refunded (see above).

If the order is not returned to us and we receive your claim that order was not delivered (and the tracking page has no more updates after it left Zagreb), then we file an official inquiry with the Croatian Post (HP) and wait for their response. Due to the fact that HP needs to inquire with the postal services from your country, it takes usually up to 2 weeks to receive a final answer from HP. Once we receive the answer, if the order is officially lost, then we fully reimburse you (including the shipping cost, if you paid it) or we ship your order again (your choice).

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working days.

SALE ITEMS

Sale items cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged, their purchase is final.

EXCHANGE

If you want to exchange a product, please follow the procedure for Returns (see above). As mentioned above, no custom or sale orders can be exchanged.

For custom engraved bracelets, we offer the Rope Replacement option - which means you can send us back the initial bracelet and we can change just the rope for it to make it smaller or bigger.

Once we receive your returned item, we will send you an invoice for the shipping cost of the new item (that we will sent to you in exchange). For Croatia, the shipping cost is 2 Euros, for Europe is 5 Euros, for US is 10 Euros and for the rest of the world is 15 Euros.

In case we have sent you the wrong item (different colour or size than what you ordered), you will not pay the shipping for the exchange. 

MAINTENANCE

CLEAN CAREFULLY

The first step to maintaining the look and luster of your handcrafted jewelry is to clean it properly. The more often you wear something, the more often it will need to be cleaned, since wearing handmade bracelets or necklaces will introduce them to the oils from your skin and the chemicals of things you touch.

Always use a cleaner that matches the main material of your jewelry; for example, the Break Time items made of paracord 550 or eco-leather should be cleaned only by hand, with a gentle soap and water.

The yachting rope items may also be cleaned even in the washing machine, at temperatures no higher than 30 degrees Celsius, during a gentle program and only if placed in a proper washing bag! (Higher temperatures might lead to discoloration of the rope).

PREVENT DAMAGE

Your handmade bracelets and necklaces will be easier to clean and maintain if they're not very dirty or scratched in the first place.

Please note that extensive exposure to saltwater, sunlight or harsh chemicals can damage your handmade jewelry. Always remove your handmade jewelry before lifting heavy items or doing strenuous work that could potentially damage it.

STORE PROPERLY

When you're not wearing or cleaning your handmade jewelry, keep it safe from loss, as well as tarnish and age.
