All Break Time shackle bracelets have an rectangle shaped bar that makes the bracelet adjustable by either 0.5 cm (the 3mm and 4mm shackle bracelets) or 1 cm (the 5mm shackle bracelets).

So basically each of our shackle bracelets has two sizes, which makes then slightly adjustable, but not completely adjustable. That means you need to measure your wrist before ordering, and we have below clear video instructions on how to do that.

For instance, if your wrist (measured exactly as we advise!) is 18 cm, then you can order a size 18-19 cm bracelet. If your wrist size is 18.5 cm, then you can order a size 19-20 cm bracelet.

Use the instructions below also for choosing the right size for our OCEAN Designer Bracelets. For instance, if your wrist (measured as we instruct in the video) is 16cm, choose an OCEAN bracelet size 16-17 cm if you like a snug fit, or a bracelet size 17-18 cm if you like a loose fit.

Please measure the WRIST as we explain in the video above and not the length of a watch or another bracelet you own.

What if I am buying a bracelet as a gift?

We suggest the wrap bracelets from the Yacht Club or Sailor collections as the best choice for a gift (since they can be adjusted to fit any wrist size).

If you want to buy a shackle bracelet as a gift, you may use the estimated sizes as below, unless you can get the wrist measurement for the person you want to get the gift for.

We also make on special order bracelets for sizes smaller than 15 cm or larger than 21 cm - and you can contact us for such custom orders, but please double check the size you need since we do not accept returns for these custom made sizes!

Can I return the order if it is the wrong size?

Yes, we have FREE RETURNS, with the exception of custom made sizes (smaller than 15 cm or bigger than 21 cm) and custom engraved bracelets.

Each bracelet is made to order, especially for you, so it usually takes 1-2 working days to complete your order (depending on how many orders we have received that day). This time is added to the estimated delivery time.

When your order is ready, we will ship it with your chosen courier (Croatian Post, DHL or other express option) and we will provide you with the tracking number.

For orders placed inside Croatia, we offer fast shipping, so delivery times are usually 24 to 48 hours (can be 72 hours for remote destinations and islands).

For orders placed outside Croatia, delivery times using regular postal services (Croatian Post) can vary from 7 to 45 working days, depending on destination. For Europe is is usually 7 to 14 days. For USA and UK it can be anything from 2-4 weeks (but it can be more during busy times of year), for Canada or Australia it can be 4 weeks or more. 

We are not responsible for any custom taxes that might be applied by the custom authorities, for countries outside the European Union.

All Break Time jewellery is handcrafted with highly resistant stainless steel or titanium steel, and EU-made sailing ropes of US-made original paracord, therefore they are highly resistant to wear and tear, as well as repeated contact with water, so they do not necessitate a lot of maintenance.

If the paracord gets dirty, you can wash the bracelet with warm water and soap (you can also let it soak for half an hour in soapy water and then rinse it well) and for the sailing rope you can also use a small brush (an old toothbrush, for instance). Also, as a reminder, we offer the option to replace an old rope and give your bracelet new life.

The metal part of the bracelet is either stainless steel or titanium steel, so it will not tarnish. The black plated, 18K gold plated and 18K rose gold plated versions are also highly resistant, PVD plating can last up to 10 years. In time, the metal parts of the Break Time jewellery can get a cool jagged look if they come in contact often to hard abrasive surfaces, but they will keep their sturdiness.

When storing your bracelet, make sure it is completely dry.
