All Break Time shackle bracelets have an rectangle shaped bar that makes the bracelet adjustable by either 0.5 cm (the 3mm and 4mm shackle bracelets) or 1 cm (the 5mm shackle bracelets).
So basically each of our shackle bracelets has two sizes, which makes then slightly adjustable, but not completely adjustable. That means you need to measure your wrist before ordering, and we have below clear video instructions on how to do that.
For instance, if your wrist (measured exactly as we advise!) is 18 cm, then you can order a size 18-19 cm bracelet. If your wrist size is 18.5 cm, then you can order a size 19-20 cm bracelet.
Use the instructions below also for choosing the right size for our OCEAN Designer Bracelets. For instance, if your wrist (measured as we instruct in the video) is 16cm, choose an OCEAN bracelet size 16-17 cm if you like a snug fit, or a bracelet size 17-18 cm if you like a loose fit.
Please measure the WRIST as we explain in the video above and not the length of a watch or another bracelet you own.
What if I am buying a bracelet as a gift?
We suggest the wrap bracelets from the Yacht Club or Sailor collections as the best choice for a gift (since they can be adjusted to fit any wrist size).
If you want to buy a shackle bracelet as a gift, you may use the estimated sizes as below, unless you can get the wrist measurement for the person you want to get the gift for.

Can I return the order if it is the wrong size?
Yes, we have FREE RETURNS, with the exception of custom made sizes (smaller than 15 cm or bigger than 21 cm) and custom engraved bracelets.

What can I engrave on the bracelet?
The engraving will be done on the anchor body and the choice is yours, you can engrave a name, a date, initials, symbols etc. and you get inspired with our 100+ engraving ideas.
Can I swim with the bracelet?
Yes, you can, all Break Time bracelets are made with stainless steel and high-quality ropes, so they are water-resistant.
How can I take care of my bracelet?
All Break Time jewellery is handcrafted with highly resistant stainless steel and European made sailing ropes of US-made original paracord, therefore they are highly resistant to wear and tear, as well as repeated contact with water, so they do not necessitate a lot of maintenance.
If the paracord or rope gets dirty, you can wash the bracelet with warm water and soap - you can also let it soak for half an hour in soapy water and then rinse it well) and for the sailing rope you can also use a small brush (an old toothbrush, for instance). Also, as a reminder, we offer the option to replace an old rope and give your bracelet new life.
The metal part of the bracelet is 304 stainless steel, so it will not tarnish. The black plated, 18K gold plated and 18K rose gold plated versions are also highly resistant, PVD plating can last up to 10 years. In time, the metal parts of the Break Time jewellery can get a cool jagged look if they come in contact often to hard abrasive surfaces, but they will keep their sturdiness.
When storing your bracelet, make sure it is completely dry.
What payment methods do you offer?
You can pay securely using any type of card (VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), but also your digital wallet Apple Pay or Google Pay, as well as by Paypal.
Orders placed inside Croatia can also be pay COD (cash on delivery). This payment method ncurs an extra charge of 2 Euros. The customer will will pay the order in cash, to the Croatian Post courier.

When will my order be shipped?
The bracelets are made to order by our designer Leonard, so we usually need 1-2 working days to make your order, which will then be shipped to you. Here are the Shipping Options available.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing the tracking number. You can track your order using that tracking number here. Please note that for international orders the tracking page does not update while order is in transit (meaning that once order leaves Croatia, the next tracking page update will show once your order reaches your destination country. Can I return the bracelet?
If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! You can return the order within 30 days (calculated from the day you received the order), no questions asked. Please note that custom engraved bracelets cannot be returned and will not be refunded in case your order is returned to us. Read more about our Return Policy.
